CONCERT BAND
Song of the Sea is a short and simple work meant to evoke the joy of a sailor as they navigate the sea, drifting through light playful waves on a clear and beautiful day. It blends a march-like feel with longer melodic phrasing in order to represent some of the more rigorous elements of sea life with the wistful yearning for adventure.
