A charming, five-movement work for string orchestra by the Norwegian composer Ole Olsen, written in 1898 and first performed in Oslo in 1899. The movements are well-crafted and full of Norwegian folk influences, with moods ranging from serene to playful to dark and brooding to humorous and lively.
